Are We Crazy?

After 8 great years in Hong Kong with coveted jobs in finance and international teaching, we decided to hit the reset button. We quit our jobs, packed up and shipped what we didn’t sell back to Canada for the start of a gap year, which has taken us from Toronto to Vancouver, and now on to Peru, Nicaragua, Morocco, Spain and Italy. Oh yeah, and we had our third child shortly after arriving back in Canada, so we have a 5 year old, a 3 year old and now 5 month old baby in tow! So are we crazy? Follow us and find out!

Yes you are crazy and I love it! Don’t know how you didn’t stay in Vancouver… that’s what most people from Ontario do! (Just had to throw that in ;). Will be checking in to hear about your adventures. I so admire you for taking this great adventure! And really, I don’t think you’re crazy! Still at Canadian International School….

This is great idea. We can always get to know what you are up to. I guess everybody wants to be like you guys, well, at least ME. I and Salus might visit my friend living in Cortes de la Frontera, one of the village in Malaga province in Spain in early August. I started fantasizing if we could meet in Spain already… what is the timeline like?

Love Carolyn & “the James crew” …. I need to work on that because it’s just not as cool as the itchy feet
